Working with such a prominent public building as this requires unique skill and a large degree of sensitivity in relation to its original architectural fabric. Conservation work, often times, involves a considerable level of research and surveying to ensure that all decisions made are made with the utmost care for the building and its future. Mahon | Fox Architects were approached to undertake a detailed measured and photographic survey of St. Aidan’s Cathedral alongside a comprehensive maintenance strategy, to act as a base point for all future works to the structure.

Our work with St. Aidan’s Cathedral is an important part of the long term care and preservation of this landmark structure.
