Árd Uisce – Housing Estate

Description:

Design-Build project comprising 16no. houses (as part of a larger 200+ residential development), which entailed overall Site Layout Plan (incl. future phasing) at Árd Uisce, Mulgannon, Wexford

Demonstrates ability to deliver upon large scale urban residential developments through from conceptual design to engaging with the Local Authority during the Planning Stage and routine inspections throughout the Construction Stage.

One of the most pertinent challenges presented in delivering the above project works was the fact that construction commenced in the immediate aftermath of the implementation of the newly enacted Building Control (Amendment) Regulations, otherwise commonly referred to as “BCAR” (ref. S.I. No. 9 of 2014); this marked a sea change in term so of role responsibilities and the statutory regime for both inspecting and certifying development works such as this.

Full Architectural Service, plus Design Certifier / Assigned Certifier, plus BER Assessor and PSDP roles
